How happy are you with your life?

Think about it for a moment...100%? If not why not? Despite your circumstances , you can be 100% happy. It's achievable , because happiness comes from within. It's about inner transformation, which has to happen before it can be externally manifested.-Gustav Gous

Relationships form when we interact with other people, relationships consists of different influence spheres around us and we need to be aware of how and when they form. Sometimes a brief relationship will form around a braai, this is called a casual friend relationship and is usually the result of choices that we make based on what we like about the person externally and is a result of immediate circumstances.

Close friendships however develop over a longer period and is the result of choices we make based on how well we know the person we’re involved with. That being said it follows logically that a wiser choice would result in a better friend.

Prov 27:19 As in water face answers to and reflects face, so the heart of man to man. (Amplified)

Prov 12: 26 The [consistently] righteous man is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked causes others to go astray. (Amplified)

What does these 2 verses mean? Well basically that Lazy, angry, immoral, bitter, greedy and unbelieving people will challenge us mentally. We need to choose our friends very wisely. Prov 13:20 He who walks [as a companion] with wise men is wise, but he who associates with [self-confident] fools is [ a fool himself and ] shall smart for it. [Isa 32:6]

The opposite of this is true of morally intact and believing people. Yes they will also sometimes challenge me mentally but they’ll also support me emotionally and strengthen me spiritually. Heb 10:24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, (Amplified)

Who you are will ultimately determine the persons that you attract. So how do we attract the right people? Start by being interested in other people. Fil 2:4 Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

Don’t be a chronic complainer (Phil 2:14-15) but be a good listener (Jam 1:19), ask questions it’s like food to the body. Accept people unconditionally (Rom 15:7). A true friend loves at all times even when we disagree with another’s view point.

You see when we do that we help people feel significant (Rom12:10) and that means that we then honor others above ourselves (Phil 2:30). We must also be sympathetic (Rom 12 :15) and stick with people in tough times Prov 18:24 & Eccl 4:9-10) so that by doing this we actually share Christ with them.(Luc 8:39 & Luc
